Songs that define moments and mark epic memories are rare, happening maybe once every year or two or longer. This song I had heard a few times and thought nothing much of it, another chart topper that was a must play, but by no means special.
What I found out was that music is about much more than the song, it was about connection. It's about who shared that song with you, who took of their shoes and jumped with you, the friend or five who's aggressive cheers sent drinks flying everywhere and wrapped their arms around your shoulders as you sang the last few words.
